Glitch Text Generator

Zalgo text is the internet name for text corrupted with stacked Unicode combining marks, popularized by a creepypasta character. This generator produces that same effect programmatically at three selectable intensities.

Each combining mark is chosen randomly from a pool every time you generate, and Chaotic intensity stacks several per letter, so no two results are ever identical - that randomness is what gives the effect its chaotic, corrupted look.

Mild adds one or two marks per letter for a subtle glitch. Medium adds several more, including occasional marks through the letter. Chaotic stacks the most marks in every direction for the full, heavily corrupted Zalgo look.

Often not - many platforms cap the number of combining marks or reject them outright in a permanent username field. Glitch text tends to work best in bios, captions, and messages rather than strict username fields.

It will not break an app, but heavily stacked Chaotic text can render slowly or look visually messy in some older browsers and apps. If that happens, try Mild or Medium instead.
