Editorial Policy
Last updated: August 4, 2026
This page explains how StyleGen decides what to publish and the standards every tool page and article goes through before it goes live.
What we will not publish
- Pages that only change a keyword, platform name, or year while keeping substantially identical content.
- Copied, spun, or rewritten competitor content.
- Pages built primarily to target a search term with no matching, working functionality.
- Fake reviews, fake ratings, fake statistics, or fabricated author biographies.
- Claims that a tool checks real-time availability (of a name, domain, or username) when it does not.
Pre-publish checklist
Before a new tool or article is published, it is checked against this list:
- Does the tool actually work end-to-end, with real generated output - not a placeholder?
- Is the H1, introduction, and FAQ content unique to this page, not a keyword-swapped duplicate of another page?
- Are all factual claims (compatibility, name meanings, platform rules) checked, and clearly labeled as suggestions where we cannot verify them in real time?
- Does the page disclose what happens to user-entered text (see our Privacy Policy)?
- Are metadata (title, description, canonical) unique and accurate to this specific page?
- Is the page free of broken links, broken buttons, and placeholder text?
AI-assisted content
We may use AI tools to help draft or accelerate parts of our content and code. Every page that is indexed by search engines is reviewed by a person for accuracy, usefulness, and originality before it is published - AI assistance does not replace human review.
Corrections
If you spot an error - a broken tool, an incorrect name meaning, or outdated information - please let us know. We update published pages when a correction changes the substance of the content, and we only change the "last updated" date on a page when it receives a meaningful update.
